Day 3
Tailor-made Tuscany in Firenze

Tailor-made Tuscany in Firenze
Your private guide in Florence is Massimo Russo, a celebrated designer whose creations have been worn by global luminaries such as Miley Cyrus, Nick Jonas, Stevie Wonder, and other icons from the worlds of sports and entertainment. In addition to fashion, Russo designs striking home furnishings, with both disciplines deeply rooted in the materials and motifs of the Italian Renaissance — leather, velvet, marble, and other timeless elements.
A former international model, Russo walked for prestigious houses including Gucci, Etro, Prada, Jil Sander, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Moncler. As a native Florentine, he offers rare insider access and a deeply personal perspective on the city’s design heritage.
The journey begins where even most Florentines have never set foot: on the top of the central balcony of Palazzo Vecchio. This special vantage point grants exclusive access to overlook one of the most famous squares in the world and admire La Fontana del Nettuno e il David from a much different perspective.
Next, you’ll step inside the invitation-only atelier of Profumoire — an olfactory library founded by Daniele Cavalli, son of Roberto Cavalli — where a master perfumer crafts bespoke fragrances that evoke the forgotten scents of the Renaissance — from the leather of ancient workshops to the garden herbs once used by Medici alchemists.
As the afternoon light gilds the city, we make our way to Il Giardino delle Rose — Florence’s famed rose garden — where Russo once found inspiration for his collections amid rare botanical species brought from the Orient during the Renaissance. Ancient terraces cascade beneath Piazzale Michelangelo, and every bloom here tells a quiet story of renewal.
The day culminates in an exclusive after-hours visit to the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum, complete with a welcome cocktail.
Return “home” to Palazzo Portinari Salviati, free to enjoy a meal and your own time at leisure.
Day 4
The Artisan’s Secret Soul

The Artisan’s Secret Soul
Dawn breaks as we step into Palazzo Pitti’s Costume Museum, Il Museo della Moda e del Costume. Home to more than 6,000 artifacts—some dating back to the 16th century—it stands as one of the most important fashion museums in the world.
Next, on Via delle Belle Donne, we discover why the Kennedy women and Windsor royals have long favored Loretta Caponi’s atelier. Beneath vaulted, frescoed ceilings, we run our fingers across the finest Italian linens, each piece whispering its story through exquisite, handcrafted details.
For lunch, we’ll indulge in the legendary truffle dishes of Procacci—an institution that defines the culinary heart of Florence.
Afterward, we’re welcomed into PaparOne, a remarkable Florentine workshop accessible only by private invitation. Here, the maestro of paper brings the soul of the Renaissance to life, one handcrafted piece at a time.
Then it’s on to the Museo del Bargello, housed in Florence’s oldest public building. Today, it showcases the world’s most important collection of Italian Renaissance sculpture, with masterpieces by Donatello, Verrocchio, the Della Robbias, Michelangelo, Giambologna, Cellini, and more.
Dinner reservations complete the day at Enoteca Pinchiorri, followed by your final evening at Palazzo Portinari Salviati.
