I’ve been bitten by the travel bug and thankfully there’s no cure. My desire to explore the world began as a child when I would wander the woods near my home discovering unknown treasures. After graduating college my career took me to many destinations around the world and in 2004 I became a full-time travel advisor. My passion is nature — whether safaris, trekking, rafting, expedition cruising, mountain climbing, exploring.
My love of exploration and discovery helps me collaborate with you to create YOUR perfect experience. I know the destinations, having visited all 7 continents multiple times. My goal is to know you — your likes, dislikes, comfort level, tastes in food and activity, goals and aspirations. Sometimes I ask my clients, “What one word do you want to have when you return from your vacation?” You and I will fuse these into an unparalleled vacation, one that respects the one irreplaceable commodity you have, your free time.
Of all the adventures I’ve had and helped others to enjoy, I am fluent and comfortable with all things Africa. I’ve been on over 30 safaris, hosted several, and planned countless ones. All safaris, all adventures, are NOT the same. You deserve so much more than being in a destination. Don’t you want to know you have the best guide? Comfortable accommodations? Reservations at the restaurants locals love? Access to adventures only available through my friends and contacts around the world? Don’t wait, call me today and together we will create that WOW you’re looking for.
Africa
Having planned dozens and dozens of safaris, I can’t pick just one itinerary. I will share some memories my clients and I have experienced: watching a large pride of lions stroll through the Ngorongoro Crater; witnessing the Great Migration at the iconic crossing of the Mara River; watching baboons crossing through the waters of the Okavango Delta on 2 legs like a human; hot air ballooning over the Serengeti; being up close and personal with a troop of gorillas; meeting the rangers who actually worked with Dian Fossey. The list of exceptional memories is almost unending. All of these experiences were accentuated by the guides and experts that I partner with in all the countries in Africa.

Exploring Southern Patagonia :: Easter Island :: Atacama Desert
A 14 day adventure enjoyed by an active couple who have experienced much of the world. The trip included a myriad of activities such as nature walks, glacier spotting, history tours, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, culture tours, cycling, a visit to the only village on Rapa Nui (Easter Island), trekking along salt flats, and enjoying a sunset overlooking Moon Valley in the Atacama Desert. “This was the most adventurous trip we’ve ever made in terms of activity! It was the trip of a lifetime!” — Mark G
An Insider’s China
A mix of familiar stops, Beijing (lunch on the Great Wall, anyone) and Shanghai, combined with unique (beyond the Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an, pandas and a Daoist temple in Chengdu), and top it off with the colorful, spiritual mystery of Lhasa, which was Tibet and is now China. I arranged guides who were experts in their fields including professors, archeologists, and authors.

Experience Egypt with an Egyptologist who will guide you by land and by the Nile River on a small ship adventure. From Cairo onward our guide weaves a rich tapestry of the astounding history and culture of Egypt, ancient and current.
