Small Groups

Travel has never been just about getting from point A to point B for me. It’s about curiosity, connection, slowing down, and seeing the world (and ourselves!) a little differently. At its core, travel is about people: the ones you meet, the ones you travel with, and the way shared experiences naturally turn into community. That belief is exactly why I specialize in group travel.
As a luxury travel advisor and niche group travel specialist, I design culturally immersive, small-group experiences for travelers of all ages who want more than a cookie-cutter itinerary. I work across a wide range of group travel styles, from family trips to activity-based journeys. Through my business, Paint By Destination, I host small-group watercolor workshops and art retreats on luxury river and small-ship cruises, and I’m also a Virtuoso Voyages Certified Host, offering enhanced access, added value, and onboard expertise for cruise-based experiences.
I also help clients bring their own niche group ideas to life, whether that’s a fly-fishing adventure in Chile, a cycling trip through Mallorca, a culinary deep dive in Provence, or something wonderfully specific that doesn’t fit neatly into a box.
Some destinations stay with you long after you leave. South Korea is one of those places for me. After spending several months living there, I became a South Korea Specialist and collaborated with the Korean Tourism Organization on initiatives tied to the launch of the country’s Digital Nomad Visa, helping remote professionals relocate to South Korea with confidence. That lived experience means I understand the logistics, hidden gems, and cultural nuances that matter once you’re on the ground.
Born and raised in Texas, I now split my time between Austin and Valencia, Spain, and hold an Italian passport, which allows me to spend more than half the year in Europe. I’ve traveled to 50+ countries and often spend a full month or more deeply immersed in the destinations I work with, getting to know neighborhoods, lifestyle, and culture firsthand.
Why work with me? Because meaningful group travel doesn’t just happen, it’s designed. I combine creative vision with behind-the-scenes knowledge, designing everything from the idea and organizing the itinerary to managing reservations, payments, and logistics. The result is travel that feels thoughtful, seamless, and meant just for you from start to finish.
Some of my most unforgettable travel experiences have been in South Africa, especially on safari with &Beyond. Days that start before sunrise and end after dusk, staying in tented camps, heading out on game drives at golden hour, then returning for long meals and a few quiet moments in between… just to do it all over again the next day. It’s unlike anywhere else in the world. Pair that with time in Cape Town, the vineyards, and a stay at Grootbos Nature Reserve (which even has a watercolor gallery onsite featuring local flora and fauna), and it’s hard to beat.
Jordan is another favorite. It has so much history and unique landscapes. Wadi Rum feels like another planet, the Dead Sea makes you feel truly weightless, and the Red Sea is stunning both above and below the water. It’s a destination that surprises you.
And then there are the trips that are simpler but just as meaningful: time with friends or family in classic places like Spain and Greece, where the culture, food, weather, and warmth make everything feel easy and joyful. These are the places you return to again and again for good reason.
Japan is great in every season: skiing in winter, cherry blossoms in spring, colorful maples in fall, and a sense of beauty and ritual year-round.
