One of my favourite places to visit in late October through November is the city of Alba, located in the Piedmont region of Italy. When visiting Alba I can indulge in various gourmet experiences that highlight the white truffles known as “tartufo bianco”. Savouring a white truffle risotto with a glass of local wine such as Barolo or Barbaresco is a phenomenal gastronomic experience.
Experiencing gorillas in their natural habitat in Uganda, in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a once in a lifetime experience. Going on a safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania was also a thrilling and unforgettable experiences for me. This trip was a life-changing adventure that I highly recommend.
Morocco provides you with a rich tapestry of culture, history and stunning landscapes. Spending a night in a luxury desert camp, with first class comfortable tents while riding camels in the Agafay desert made me felt like I was part of the movie “Lawrence of Arabia”. Walking around the local markets of Marrakesh provides you with a visual and olfactory experience second to none.
