What does a girl born and raised in Texas know about traveling the world? Well, for starters, I take every opportunity to get out of the Texas heat as much as possible to explore as much of this beautiful planet. I’m grateful to have traveled to 30 countries before 30 and have since been advised to keep the number of countries greater than my age which I can definitely stick too.
My life’s pursuit has always been centered on memories. I initially thought my career would be in finding ways to preserve and protect memories by means with my neurobiology degree but have since decided its better to help people create memories by seeing the world than by seeing synapses. In this first life’s pursuit, I was able to take my first transatlantic trip to Nepal where I interned at a cancer research hospital in Bhaktapur. It’s been a wild ride ever since!
This is the hardest question to ask of someone, especially a travel advisor… If you ask me again, I’m sure I’ll have a different answer but here’s my best shot: Iceland & Egypt/Jordan are consistently in my top 2.
