After years of sharing travel itineraries with friends and family, I am excited to turn a lifelong passion for travel into a career.
Raised on Carmen Sandiego, I loved being quizzed on world capitals at an early age. My father, who can boast travel to over 80 countries and 7 continents, belongs to The Explorers Club. Highlights from family trips include hiking in the Alps, seeing ancient ruins in Turkey, whitewater rafting in Idaho, and riding the Star Ferry in Hong Kong.
In college at Duke, I double-majored in English and French, studying abroad in Paris and London. I continued at Duke Law, spending a summer in Geneva working at an international law firm and studying international law. I also have a background in theater and the arts (piano, voice).
I practiced corporate law for several years, while taking time to vacation in Bora Bora (honeymoon), Ireland, Spain, and Morocco. After the birth of my two sons, now ages 10 and 13, I stepped away from full-time legal practice but continued to travel at every opportunity. My first post-baby trips were to Napa and Tuscany respectively – and many wineries were visited in each location!
Some favorite personal trips in recent years include a couple’s getaway to Maine, a family holiday in Antigua, skiing in Utah, a girls’ trip to the Cotswolds, a multi-generational villa vacation in Jamaica, a mother/daughter trip to Paris, a kids’ visit to NYC, and an anniversary celebration in Greece. Over the past year we have taken my children to London and Italy! We are looking forward to a trip to Hawaii and safari in Botswana during the next year.
I have in-depth knowledge of London and Paris; and I can also work well with families with special needs as my oldest son is autistic.
I thrive on creating detailed, personalized itineraries for my clients that combine high standards in luxury travel while experiencing local food, history, and culture.
