Travel has always shaped how I live and work. After selling my business, I built JPL Expeditions around a simple idea: design travel that blends adventure, refinement, and disciplined execution.
I specialize in elevated mountain travel and thoughtfully curated resort experiences. I have spent extended time in ski towns like Breckenridge and Aspen, learning them as a local would. That depth matters. It means knowing which side of the mountain to ski first to avoid lift lines, where to park to save an hour on a busy powder day, which restaurants offer a truly intimate dinner rather than a crowded scene, and which local shops are worth your time. These details rarely show up in brochures, but they define the experience.
Beyond the mountains, I plan luxury resort and villa stays throughout Mexico and the Caribbean, leveraging preferred partner relationships that provide upgrades, breakfast, resort credits, and personalized attention. Whether the trip is an active ski week, a milestone anniversary, or a restorative coastal escape, my approach remains the same: thoughtful pacing, clear communication, and meticulous coordination.
My professional background was built on high-level client service, accountability, and precision. Clients appreciate that I am proactive, responsive, and attentive to detail. From the first conversation to the final airport transfer, the goal is simple: create a seamless experience that feels both elevated and effortless.
One of my favorite journeys was a 10-day self-drive around Iceland’s Ring Road, blending refined accommodations with meaningful adventure.
We began with a restorative stay near the Blue Lagoon, then set off clockwise around the island. The itinerary balanced comfort and exploration: boutique and luxury properties each evening, long scenic drives, and days built around hiking, glacier trekking, waterfalls, and remote coastal landscapes.
Highlights included hiking along Skógafoss and the Waterfall Way, walking behind Seljalandsfoss, exploring the dramatic black sands of Reynisfjara Beach, and spending time at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon before stepping onto Vatnajökull Glacier with a private guided trek. The scale of Iceland’s landscapes is hard to describe until you are standing inside it.
What made the trip especially meaningful was the pacing. We avoided the rushed bus-tour rhythm and instead structured each day intentionally. Early starts at iconic sites like Gullfoss and Dettifoss meant fewer crowds. Strategic routing reduced backtracking. Even dinner reservations were chosen carefully, from refined seafood in Höfn to thoughtful dining in Reykjavík.
Iceland reinforced how I approach travel design: immersive days outdoors, elevated lodging at night, and careful logistics that make a complex itinerary feel effortless.
