I have sent many happy families, couples and groups to Switzerland. The country is very near and dear to my heart. I lived there for almost a decade, I am a nationalized Swiss and I have two Swiss daughters. I love uncovering hidden gems for my clients in my adopted homeland.
I really enjoy creating surprises for my clients. One that stands out was when a client asked me to surprise de his multigenerational pizza loving family with a weekend in NYC. I came up with the idea to close down a pizza parlor in Little Italy and have the family take a pizza making class. We thrn had the family go in to the streets and have passerbys jusdge their pizza. As a surprise gift we sent the whole family to Hamilton and had them met the cast backstage- everyone was a winner!
A dear client wanted to celebrate how far he and his wife had come on their 40th anniversary. We talked about their honeymoon- a trip to Niagara Falls. To honor that time, and mark their growth as a couple, I sent them to Quebec. When they landed, we whisked the couple to a private helicopter so that they could see the waterfalls in the area from their private chopper. We had a special piece of jewelry onboard that marked both events. The wife loved the surprise and the beautiful sentiment.
I arranged for clients to have a private tour of the Pope’s apartment in the summer palace. I was able to see it, for myself, before their trip. We see a lot of singular things in our industry, but I never expected to have such an intimate glimpse of such a iconic person’s residence.
