Most people don’t need forty options when traveling. They need five great ones and someone who knows the difference.
That’s most of what I do. We start with a conversation and a real budget — the actual number, not the polite one. From there I research properties the way I’d research them for my own family: where the hotel actually sits, what the rooms are actually like, whether the service holds up when something goes wrong. You get three to five places that genuinely fit, with honest notes on each, including what might annoy you. Then you pick.
What you won’t get from me (unless you would like it) is a laminated schedule. I’ll tell you what’s worth doing — the restaurants worth booking ahead, the things that are better on a weekday, the ones that aren’t worth the trip at all — and then it’s yours to use or ignore entirely. It’s a vacation, not a group tour. I don’t want to make your trip stressful by having a strict schedule to follow. Vacation to me is all about keeping it relaxed and fun, not screaming to each other that the driver is late and the restaraunt on the schedule is 30 minutes away. I prefer to provide my recommendations, see how you feel about them, and allow you to have options on how you want to spend your vacation with your hard earned money.
Heres an overview of everything I handle. I handle your flights, the car that picks you up so nobody’s rushing to the airport, the transfer waiting when you land, amenities in the room, dinner reservations for the first night. And I’m reachable the whole time you’re gone. Regardless of the different time zone, my response time remains the same.
I work primarily with families and multi-generational groups traveling within the United States as well as international with locations such as Europe, Japan, the UAE, French Polynesia, South America, and pretty much anywhere else on Earth you can think of. I don’t charge planning fees (for the most part, if you want that laminated itinerary scheduling your entire vacation hour by hour I’m all for drawing something up for you, but that will cost a small fee). I’m compensated by the properties and partners I book, so my time costs you nothing — the one exception being a fully detailed day-by-day itinerary, which is the only service I bill for.
I’m based out of the New York City Metropolitan Area and attended University of Arizona for my undergraduate degree. I worked in finance for a little bit after graduation, but my passion is in providing great experiences to people so that they can make memories for a lifetime. I love travel and I can’t wait to share my knowledge and passion for this industry with all of my clients!
If you’re starting to think about a trip, the easiest first step is a conversation. No pitch, no obligation.
