David Brown founded Cristina’s Passport after more than 30 years in international business, including a career as Vice President at a global consumer goods company. He co-founded the company with his daughter Cristina, who leads marketing, sales, and client relations — together, they’ve built a business around the kind of travel they love most.
David has lived in Canada, Germany, and the United States, and worked extensively in Mexico, Brazil, India, Spain, and more than 20 other countries. That time abroad built him a genuine global network and a firsthand understanding of what makes a destination special — insight he now brings to every itinerary he designs. He’s personally traveled to more than 70 countries, and that experience shows up in the specificity of his recommendations: not just where to go, but where to stay, eat, and linger.
David’s travel interests run wide and far: watching the mist rise over Iguazu Falls in Argentina, gliding through the fjords of Greenland, admiring the majesty of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, or simply wandering the streets of Paris, Rome, or New York. Whether it’s a remote natural wonder, a centuries-old city, or the modern wonders of Shanghai, what draws him in is the same — meeting the people, exploring the culture, trying the food, learning the history, and taking in the beauty of the place.
David lives in Dunedin, Florida with his wife, his daughter Cristina, and their well-traveled dog, Beau. They love to travel and can’t wait to help you with your next journey.
Where do you want to go next?
One of my personal favorites was a trip to South America, starting in Machu Picchu, traveling on to Lake Titicaca, then the salt flats in Bolivia, the Atacama Desert in Chile and flying home from Santiago. Along the way we had the opportunity to experience the food scene in Lima, explore La Paz via the famous cable car system, and visit the seaside and vineyards near Santiago.
The trip involved a wide range of experiences, from the majesty of Machu Picchu’s mountain fortress to the sophistication of the restaurants in Lima. From the boiling geyser pots of the Bolivian high altitude desert to meeting the families on the floating islands of Lake Titicaca. Our memories are so rich and varied that we can’t wait to continue exploring.
