Hi, I’m Chelli, owner and chief travel designer at Triptique – a luxury travel design company dedicated to creating elevated and personalized experiences around the world. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to explore over 30 countries, have flown countless airlines, and stayed in iconic hotels.
But this passion also extends beyond my personal travels. As I’ve planned trips for family & friends, I’ve found so much joy in helping others to explore the world and check off their bucket list. So after a 15+ year career in consulting and tech, I decided to launch Triptique to follow my passion and serve clients everywhere.
While my love for travel is undeniable, I find equal joy in the planning process and believe that careful preparation allows us to reap the greatest rewards from our journeys. I approach each client’s trip with meticulous attention to detail, treating it with the same care and dedication as I would my own.
Travel has profoundly shaped my life in countless ways, and I’m eager to create those same transformative experiences for you!
When I’m not traveling, you’ll find me at home in Chicago, enjoying quality time with my husband and our little Pekingese pup, Wonton. As an avid photographer, I also love capturing moments from my travels and sharing insider tips on the best photo spots.
1) Going on safari in Kenya for our honeymoon and getting to eat breakfast with giraffes at Giraffe Manor. There is nothing quite like getting up close with the Big 5 and some of my favorite all time photos are from this trip. We also got to see the wildebeest migration from a hot air balloon which was a true bucket list experience!
2) Trekking through the Himalayas to the Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal. We spent nine days among the highest mountains in the world and saw some of the most spectacular views. It was a great way to truly disconnect from daily life, we would do this trip time and time again!
3) Going on a solo photography adventure to Japan during cherry blossom season. I started out the trip by hitting the slopes in Hokkaido and ended with a 50 mile bike ride across the seven islands in the Seto Inland Sea. In between I spent time in Tokyo, Kyoto, Miyajima and Mt Fuji and came home with some stunning photos!
