In my late teenage years, I started traveling and discovered the joy it brings. I am now 26 years old and reside in Pittsburgh, PA. My travels are usually with my husband, as we share a passion for exploring new places. We got engaged and tied the knot in Europe, adding to our love for adventure. Every vacation I have been privileged to go on has been so different and unique that it’s completely impossible to pick a favorite but if I had to choose the most special trip, it would have to be our wedding weekend followed by a wonderful honeymoon.
My husband and I got married in Villa Erba in Lake Como, Italy, surrounded by our loved ones. We had fallen in love with the area the previous summer, so choosing it as our wedding destination felt like the perfect start to our life together. We celebrated all weekend, exploring the lake by boat, visiting beautiful landmarks, and creating lifelong memories with our closest friends and family. Afterward, we traveled to Florence with some close friends and family before embarking on our honeymoon. We explored the town, went on day trips to Pisa and Cinque Terre, and enjoyed a fun cooking class with our family.
For our honeymoon, we left Europe and found ourselves in Bali, Indonesia! We started in Ubud, enjoying the rainforest side of Bali. We experienced captivating culture we have never seen, with flower decorations over our pool, and indulged in romantic private dining for two. We proceeded from Ubud to Jimbaran Bay, known for beautiful ocean views. Embracing a complete relaxation mode, our days were filled with poolside lounging, beach strolls, couple’s massage in a seaside hut, and dining with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. Finally, we jetted off to Dubai for the final days of our honeymoon. We went to the top of the Burj Khalifa, rode camels in the desert and explored the zoo inside of the iconic massive mall. This trip was incredibly meaningful to us, creating memories we will cherish forever!
