Hello and thank you for visiting my profile!

I earned my BFA from the renowned Parsons School of Design in New York City and devoted over a decade as a fashion designer for prominent Fortune 500 companies. After transitioning to events, I established my own luxury event design firm, overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, collaborating with VIPs, booking national talent, and orchestrating events ranging from intimate gatherings to thousands of guests. Recently, I served as the Senior Director of Corporate Events for a leading healthcare corporation, where I produced 160 events annually while helping to maintain the corporation’s award-winning culture. My strength lies in my natural eye for elegance and style, meticulous organization, and my passion for celebrating diversity and foreign cultures.
My creative work seamlessly intertwines with my own travel journeys. I’ve traveled to 4 continents, 26 countries, 36 US states, and lived in Paris, NYC, and New Zealand. I’ve taken two year-long travel sabbaticals giving me experience and personal insights into a variety of global destinations and properties worldwide.
I was honored by being nominated for San Diego Magazine’s “Women Who Move the City,” and my events have graced the pages of luxury publications. My dedication to the arts extends to contributing on committees for cultural institutions such as La Jolla Playhouse and the Mingei International Museum in San Diego.
I firmly believe that one lifetime hardly seems long enough to fully savor all the beauty and diverse cultures our planet has to offer!

In 2008, I arranged a Villa with an incredible Italian family at their historic agriturismo in Cortona, Tuscany, and we quickly became fast friends. After our trip, I had the opportunity to host their son in my home while he attended college in the US. Sixteen years and twenty trips later, Cortona has become our second home, and we are all famiglia now.
There is something very unique about traveling with my family and friends and being able to forge bonds across the globe. Seeing and experiencing new cultures through another family’s perspective is one of the most enlightening opportunities. Standing on an ancient hilltop, popping a bottle of Prosecco in the private vineyard to celebrate a milestone birthday was priceless.
Our family travel experiences have changed how we celebrate the holidays, taught us to enjoy the long lingering moments, and how to incorporate their beautiful culture and mindset into our daily lives. For instance, I’ve caused more than one uproar at lunchtime in Italy when I’ve ordered a cappuccino after 12 PM, let alone drinking an Aperol spritz while eating a meal. Occasionally, all of these things at the same time (insert Italian eye rolls here). I’ve been warned several times, I won’t be adopted as a full-fledged Italian until these issues are resolved!
